Guidelines for Acceptance of Donations

The Society for Emerging Trends in Dynamical Systems (SETDS) is a non-profit academic society dedicated to promoting research, education, and collaboration in dynamical systems and related fields. To sustain its mission, the Society welcomes donations from individuals, groups, trusts, and organizations that wish to support mathematics and interdisciplinary sciences in India.

Types of Donations

• 1. General Corpus Fund

  • Donations made without specific purpose.
  • Utilized to support conferences, workshops, publications, training programs, and other academic activities.

• 2. SETDS Centre Corpus Fund

  • Dedicated to the development of the permanent headquarters and research centre of SETDS, including facilities such as lecture halls, library, and computer centre.
  • Donors may contribute towards a specific facility or to the general development fund.

• 3. Corpus Fund for Instituting Awards

  • Donations made to institute a named award in recognition of outstanding contributions in mathematics, dynamical systems, or related sciences.
  • Awards may be named after the donor, family members, teachers, or mentors.
  • Each award carries a Citation and Cash Prize, conferred at the Annual Conference of SETDS.
  • Terms and selection processes are decided by the SETDS Council in consultation with the donor.

Procedure for Donations

• Prospective donors should contact the General Secretary, SETDS with their proposal.
• The SETDS Council reserves the right to accept or decline any donation.
• Donations may be made through online transfer or bank deposit.
