The founders of the Society for Emerging Trends in Dynamical Systems (SETDS) envisioned the Society as a dynamic platform for promoting research and collaboration across India. With the goal of ensuring accessibility and fostering academic connectivity, it was collectively decided that the headquarters of the Society would be established in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, a region that holds both historical and academic relevance in Northern India.
Accordingly, at the time of its registration in 2024 under the Societies Registration Act, the Society’s office was located at:
Flat No. 204, Sheetal Saksham Grand Apartment,
Gali No. 4, Azad Nagar, Near Jail Road, Khandari,
Agra – 282005, Uttar Pradesh, India.
This location continues to serve as the Registered Office of the Society and operates under the supervision of the Secretary, with support from the President and Treasurer. It houses the administrative records, financial documents, meeting registers, and correspondence archives. It also functions as the primary coordination center for all Society activities, including academic programs, events, membership, and outreach.
However, with the expanding scope of activities and increasing involvement of researchers and institutions from across the country, the need for a more centralized and independent space for the Society has been strongly felt. Recognizing this, the Management Committee has expressed interest in acquiring a permanent office premises that would serve as the institutional base of SETDS, equipped with modern infrastructure to support its operations, events, and research activities.
The Society has begun exploring possibilities to purchase land or a dedicated facility in a location that balances accessibility, academic ecosystem, and long-term sustainability. Preliminary discussions have already taken place in Council meetings, and fundraising efforts are likely to be initiated in the coming years.
The vision is to create a SETDS Complex that will include administrative offices, seminar and workshop halls, a resource library, and spaces for collaborative research, thus paving the way for SETDS to become a national hub for the dynamical systems community.
